‘Twilight’ Casting News: Bryce Dallas Howard Replacing Rachelle Lefevre In ‘Eclipse’

Bryce Dallas Howard is joining the “” franchise. The “Terminator Salvation” star will replace Rachelle Lefevre in the role of Victoria, according to Summit Entertainment, which produces the vampire series based on the books by Stephenie Meyer. “We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions, said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “Rachelle brought ‘Victoria’ to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.

” Summit said Rachelle would not be continuing on as Victoria, an evil vampire out for revenge over the death of her lover, due to scheduling conflicts. Bryce, the daughter of director Ron Howard, will take over the role beginning in “,” the third installment in the “Twilight” series. “Eclipse” begins filming in Vancouver this coming August, Summit confirmed. Angela Lansbury wins record

Angela Lansbury is an amazing actress and a lady. I was a nursing director working in San Luis Obispo in the mid-eighties when a family member was hospitalized. She NEVER had an attitude, always gracious, always thoughtful and bought the nurses station a microwave for their efforts. It was our blessing to have her around for a two week period of time. Andhra Pradesh Elections 2009. Verdict 2009: UPA way ahead of NDA

NEW DELHI: The Congress-led UPA was way ahead in 198 constituencies while the BJP-led NDA was leading in 125 seats in early trends for 420 seats in the Lok Sabha elections as counting of votes was taken up today. The Congress alone was leading in 155 constituencies while the BJP was ahead in 100. The Third Front including the Left parties was ahead in 62 while the Fourth Front consisting of SP, RJD and LJP was placed at 27. The Congress and its allies were doing well in major states like Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, West Bengal, Delhi, Rajasthana, Maharashtra and Punjab. The BJP and its allies put up a good showing in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka.

In the crucial state of Uttar Pradesh, Congress and the SP were ahead in 15 seats each while the BSP was leading in 12. BJP was ahead in 12. The prominent Congress candidates who were leading were Sonia Gandhi(Rae Bareli), Rahul Gandhi(Amethi), Pranab Mukherjee(Jangipur), Sachin Pilot(Ajmer), Priya Dutt(Mumbai North) and Shashi Tharoor(Thiruvananthapuram). Among the BJP candidates ahead were L K Advani (Gandhinagar), Rajnath Singh (Ghaziabad) and Afzal Ansari(Ghazipur).

Helen Phillips, a 48-year-old mother of three, fended off fierce competition and prevailed on “The Biggest Loser: Couples” finale live from Hollywood on Tuesday night.
